Hideaway Residence

Designed for television personality Howie Mandel, this renovation transforms an existing Mediterranean villa through a more refined, contemporary lens. The transformation began with the architecture itself—raising the dining room ceiling, introducing a new glass insert, and simplifying the existing balustrade to create cleaner, more modern lines. The exterior was refreshed with a new stucco color, updated lighting, and newly painted windows and select doors, while extensive pool, hardscape, and landscape improvements further refined the property while preserving its Mediterranean character. Inside, soaring ceilings, sweeping architectural curves, and sculptural stairways establish a dramatic framework. Reclaimed oak, natural stone, rich wood tones, and tactile finishes bring warmth and depth, while a curated mix of European vintage and contemporary furnishings creates a layered, collected sensibility throughout.
